The team at GF Laser have over 10 years experience in 5-axis or 3D laser cutting, during this time they have built up a wealth of knowledge in servicing the high demands of production and prototype 5 axis laser cutting. GF Laser carries out 5 axis laser cutting for some of the world’s largest companies including Jaguar Land Rover, Nissan, JCB and GKN.
Capacity Available for Fast Turnaround
GF Laser operate two types of 5 axis laser cutting machines to cater for production and prototype 5 axis laser cutting:
- Split cabin machines offer unrivalled production speed and are particularly valued by the automotive industry who require high volume 5 axis laser cutting.
- Single cabin machines are ideal for prototype or tooling development. For example, we can set up pressings and leave them located in the machine during development or testing phases to ensure a fast turnaround when required.
With continued capital investment and by working around the clock seven days a week GF Laser have immediate capacity available for 5 axis laser cutting for production and prototype purposes.
Storage
GF Laser operate two sites in the centre of the UK, the main manufacturing site and a storage facility located less than half a mile away. This allows them to process a high volume of goods whether on pallets or stillages.
Quality
GF Laser has held the ISO accreditation since its formation 10 years ago and is currently working towards the automotive TS accreditation. A dedicated quality department at GF Laser oversees day to day operations ensuring that the ISO and customer specific standards are adhered to.
We offer a variety of inspection systems including CMM and laser scanning. As well as being able to produce Initial Sample Inspection Records the quality team at GF Laser can also provide PPAP’s and other industry standard quality reports.
