At GF Laser, we use Trumpf Lasers throughout the business as they provide the best quality cut without compromising on speed allowing us to deliver an accurate, fast & reliable service. Our 5 axis laser cutting system allows us to make precision cuts to preformed tubes, vital in ensuring there is no risk of hole distortion or warping.
In-House Manufacture
We manufacture all of our fixtures and jigs in-house to ensure that each part is held correctly in place to alleviate the risk of workpiece movement during cutting. Off line programming & cutting simulation identifies any potential cutting issues before the parts get to the machine. Precision cutting of a tube which has already undergone bending is essential in industries where accuracy is everything. We particularly specialise in producing parts for the automotive industry.
Our in-house quality department can provide checking fixtures, ISIR’s and PPAP documentation, and clients are assured that parts that leave us have been checked to the very highest standards of workmanship.
Tubing Materials & Thicknesses
We can work with tubes, angle, box section or extrusions made from mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium.
Typically we work with materials up to 10mm thick. If your requirements include other metals or thicknesses, please get in touch as we can often source specific materials and provide a tailored solution to suit your project.

GF Laser benefits from large premises, in a central UK location. We’re ideally situated close to all major transport links, and a dedicated pick-up and delivery service allows us to take on fast turnaround tube work from anywhere in the UK.
We operate 24/7 on a three shift pattern, so we’re able to deal with large orders and short lead times with no disruption to our operations. Our computerised planning and scheduling system not only ensures we’re competitively priced by minimising waste, it also means we can accommodate high quantity batch orders and tight deadlines.
