Mild Steel Laser Cutting Service
Mild Steel is an incredibly versatile material with numerous applications across all sectors. We are able to laser cut mild steel up to 20mm thick in a range of grades including CR4 and S275. Most common materials and thicknesses are held in stock for fast turnaround laser cutting.
We also cut galvanised mild steel up to 5mm thick as detailed in our dedicated section here.
To compliment the laser cutting, we also offer ancillary services on mild steel components such as folding, tapping and vibratory deburring. The latter can aid paint adhesion to give a better finish.
Why Choose GF Laser?
We can also supply you with a full traceability package for your mild steel components. This includes full test certification from the steel mills and we are also able to provide Charpy and hardness testing as required. Our internal systems are all approved to ISO 9001:2015 and BS EN 1090 (UK CA Marking). Copies of the relevant certificates can be downloaded from our Quality section.
Mild steel laser cutting is available on both our flatbed and 5 axis laser cutting machines.
