MILD STEEL LASER CUTTING SERVICE
Mild steel is one of the most versatile materials. As a result it is the most common metal used material in for metal laser cutting. With the ability to cut metal from 0.5mm up to 20mm, we can turn around your mild steel requirements in hours. We usually laser cut mild steel using Oxygen but we can also use Nitrogen if required. To compliment the laser cutting, we also offer a descaling service which is typically used on thicker materials to aid paint adhesion to laser cut edges. Mild steel laser cutting is carried out on our fibre lasers as well as our CO2 lasers giving customers a range of options. As with all of our metal laser cutting we offer a wide range of ancillary services such as folding and painting.
We can also supply you with full traceability for your mild steel laser cut parts. This includes all certificates of conformity from the mill right through to Charpy testing when required. Our internal systems are all approved to ISO 9001:2015 and EN 1090 (CE Marked) to give added assurance that we can meet your quality requirements.
