Laser Cut Parts FAQ

If you have an enquiry for Laser Cut Parts then please read below for our 5 most frequently asked questions:

What is your current lead time for laser cut parts?

Lead times for laser cut parts vary from day to day but generally we work on the following:

  • Flat parts – 3 working days.
  • Flat and folded parts – 5 working days.
  • 5 axis laser cut parts – 10 working days.

What materials do you laser cut?

We laser cut mild steel up to 20mm thick, stainless steel up to 12mm thick and aluminium also up to 12mm thick. We also cut brass but only up to 4mm thick. We don’t offer a copper or non metal laser cut service.

What ancillary services do you offer?

We also offer press braking, powder coating and machining such as countersinking or tapping. Our sister company Moseley Brothers also offer a range of services linked to toolmaking and press production.

Do you deliver?

We have three methods of delivery available to all customers:

Next day pallet: Our retained pallet courier usually collects from us each day at around 4.30 pm. Any goods shipped out will then be delivered next day and we are also able to specify timed or pallet truck deliveries.

Boxed: For lighter goods that can be boxed we use a standard parcel delivery service which operates at the same times as the next day pallet service.

Own vehicle: For local and specialist nationwide deliveries we operate two of our own vehicles.

You are also welcome to collect in person or using your own preferred transport providers.

Can your 5 axis laser bevels?

Unfortunately not, the technology doesn’t support this as yet. Our machine supplier Trumpf does have a solution available but it’s currently at an early stage so does have some limitations. As soon as we are able to offer this service we will of course be notifying customers and potential customers.
